1. From the main menu, select Tools > Options. On the Agents page, select one of the following:

   • HTTP Gateway
   • HTTP(S) Proxy
   • HTTPS Gateway

2. Select the Use another proxy server to communicate with real services option, and click Settings.

   Note: Available for HTTP Gateway and HTTP Proxy agent only.

Select the proxy configuration setting to use:

• No proxy. Disables using another proxy server.

• Use system proxy settings. Service Virtualization uses the operating system to determine the proxy settings to forward the request to the real service within the corporate environment.

• Manual proxy configuration. Select if you want to specify all proxy parameters manually, and enter the proxy details below.

Authentication credentials. Authentication is automatically detected, and supports BASIC, DIGEST, NTLM, and Negotiate authentication types.

Includes the following options:

• None. No username and password are used for proxy authentication.

• Current User. The username and password of the current Windows user are provided by Windows and integrated authentication is used.

  Note: Only NTLM and Negotiate authentication are supported.

• Custom Credentials. Enter a username and password to use for authentication.

The list of addresses for which the proxy will not be used.

Separate addresses with semicolons or place on new lines.

The proxy is not used when accessing local addresses (IPv4 and IPv6 loopback and current machine hostname).
